The KS Code

At Knightsbridge School we all follow a simple a set of rules known as the KS Code:

I will remember how lucky I am and do my best at everything

I will try to do something creative everyday

I will remember to walk fast and not to run

I will try not to let others feel lonely

I will say nothing that will be hurtful to others

I will treat others as I would like to be treated

If I have any worries I will talk to an adult I trust

I will respect others and their possessions

I will remember that giving and sharing are the best feelings in the world

Pastoral Care

At KS “Pastoral Care is strong and the school has a well-developed system to provide for pupils’ welfare health and safety. The ethos of the school is highly supportive so that pupils feel valued and secure.” ISI Independent Schools Inspectorate - Report May 2010.

An open, friendly atmosphere and a close partnership with parents ensure children begin their educational experience feeling nurtured and supported through encouragement, reward and celebration. A high staff /pupil ratio (1:6) means children are given close attention within a clear structure and high expectations, underpinned by detailed policies and procedures which are enshrined in the KS Code.
