Remembrance Day

KS welcomed two Chelsea Pensioners, a Major General, and the founder of Walking With The Wounded to our Remembrance Service at St Columba’s Church.

After wreaths were laid by the Head Boys and Head Girls of the Junior and Senior School, the last post was played and a two minute silence was observed by all.

Following readings and songs by the Senior School, there was a cheque presentation by the Parents Association for the Royal Hospital. After some final hymns and the national anthem, the Junior School Head Boy and Head Girl posted letters from KS pupils to injured soldiers and a collection was taken for Walking with the Wounded.

Football Firsts and Conker Championships

Boys and girls in J3 took part in a fantastic game of conkers against a local prep school after half term. Great fun was had by all and it was fantastic to see a traditional school pastime alive and kicking at KS.

There was more excitement for the J2s, who played in their first football fixture against another school. It’s safe to say that they’re a very talented year group, winning 11-0 and 10-1 in both matches, but what was equally as pleasing was the great attitude, sportsmanship and kindness shown by all.

Key Skills Week

What an amazing Key Skills Week. The school was a hive of activity over the first week of half term.

We had CV writing, exam practice, first aid training, touch typing, self-defence, manners and etiquette, pasta workshops, healthy eating seminars, interview practice, mindfulness and meditation, current affairs, aerobics, journalism classes, gymnastics, sport, urban orienteering, circuit training and much more.

A brilliant time was had by all!

Harvest Festival Celebration

KS had a wonderful time at our annual Harvest Festival celebration at the beautiful St Paul's church in Knightsbridge.

There were generous food donations for our local charity The Passage as well as music and performances from across the school.
