The @royalhospitalchelsea is one of KS`s three core charities, and connecting with the pensioners always brings immense joy to our community.
Our highlights from this extraordinary partnership during 2025-2026 include:
✨ Our School Council attended the poignant Drumhead Service, while our School Captains had the immense privilege of laying a wreath at the Remembrance Service. Captains also joined the prestigious Governors’ Review.
🌹 Together, the KS community raised over £900 for the Poppy Appeal. 🎄 Pupils handcrafted 300 Christmas cards, hand-delivered by the School Council. We were also honoured to be invited to the historic "Cutting of the Cheese" ceremony.
☕ We welcomed the Pensioners to KS for a wonderful afternoon tea with Year 2, and our School Council visited the Infirmary Ward for tea, where they had the unforgettable privilege of meeting WWII Bletchley Park decoder, Ms Helen Andrews.
🏏 Our parents enjoyed an exclusive, private tour of the Hospital, and we wrapped up the year at Burton Court with our end-of-year cricket match, raising an incredible £4,000!
We are profoundly grateful to the Royal Hospital Chelsea for welcoming our pupils with such warmth and wisdom. A huge thank you also to Lt Col Heather McClellan, one of our Parent Reps, who works closely with the Royal Hospital to organise many of these events. We look forward to another wonderful year of partnership ahead!

Today, Year 2 had an incredible time exploring the London Archives, diving deep into the history of the Great Fire of London. Highlights included examining historical documents and looking at the original floorplans of the famous bakery on Pudding Lane where the blaze first began.

This exclusive invitation to our pupils, parents and teachers marked the publishing of the first new Gruffalo story in over 20 years. Featuring much-loved characters, this fresh and exciting new Gruffalo adventure sees the return of much-loved characters and, of course, the deep dark wood.

The classrooms and corridors are buzzing and we couldn’t be happier. Today marks the start of a new academic year here at Knightsbridge and our pupils have returned to a school that’s had quite a summer glow up!
Over the holidays we’ve been busy behind the scenes creating all important new teaching spaces, two new dining rooms and much much more. Everywhere is looking super stylish and smart and we are ready for an exciting year ahead.
