It’s almost curtains up for the Drama Company’s production of Peter Pan at the Chelsea Theatre! This brand-new retelling is a fresh take on the classic story - full of magic, flying, merfolk and all the wonder you can remember (with a few surprises along the way!). Pupils have been working incredibly hard, showing immense dedication, creativity and enthusiasm. The production team have been truly inspired by their dedication. We hope you enjoy these exclusive, behind-the-scenes snapshots from rehearsals. A special thank you to Mr. Sam, Miss. Louise, Miss. Laura, Miss Blackburn and the countless others (too many to mention!) who have helped to bring this project to life. We can’t wait for you to join us in Neverland – come and be swept away by the magic!
The Knightsbridge School Chess Team made the short trip across Buckingham Palace Road to Dukes House for the second edition of the Dukes Chess Championship on Monday, hosting a competitive field with some outstanding competitors from across the Dukes family. After a kind welcome from Mr Fish of Dukes, ferocious play ensued around the arena and our chess champions gave a fantastic account of themselves, playing with trademark KS heart and inspirational sportspersonship. A special commendation goes to Luca D’Avanzo who managed to win 6 of the 9 matches he competed in and despite fielding a smaller squad than other schools in attendance. Team KS returned to school with their heads held high.

Heralding the start of Chelsea in Bloom, KS has burst into bloom too! This beautiful flag - decorated with the school emblem in flowers - was hoisted yesterday to coincide with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. As a school that champions #sustainability , we are thrilled to showcase this design. Its flowers will last long beyond the end of the festival. Thanks to Lucia at @asktheimpossible for bringing the vision to life!

Check out these photos of our agile year 7 children practising their advanced climbing techniques in PE at Imperial College. With skills ranging from criss-cross, to ballerina and dead hang, the children had a great time. Mr. Geddes was so impressed with the massive progress displayed by the children. Many had never tried climbing before the start of the year and now they are easily making it to the top of the wall! It goes to show that hard work and dedication pays off!

Ships ahoy! It was Titanic Day for our lucky year 2 children on Tuesday! As part of their current History topic, the children were fully immersed into life on board the ship with a drama workshop. Following this, the children took part in a quiz, created dining menus for first-class passengers and designed their own porthole. To round off their exciting day, the children got to imagine their own room on the ship.

Check out these amazing magazines created by our talented year 7 children in English! The students were put into groups and given a selection of themes to choose from. They collaborated together to research, write and edit their magazine articles. Topics ranged from food to travel and even artificial intelligence! Once each group had edited their work, they used Canva to create the magazines. I think we can all agree they look very professional and no doubt there are some budding journalists here! Ms Casu and Mrs. Jones were truly blown away by the dedication of the children and the quality of the work they produced.
