Last week, Mr. Francesco was invited to a Teacher Appreciation event at the Roxbury Latin School in Boston. The school, which is the oldest in America, hosts an annual ceremony during which pupils are asked to honour a teacher who has been instrumental in their lives. Former KS pupil Andrew Kramer was delighted to welcome Mr. Francesco to the school. What a wonderful reminder of the lasting impact teachers have on their pupils every day!

Did you know that Knightsbridge School is the very first school to partner with @medicinema_charity ? This incredible charity works within NHS hospitals to bring the magic of cinema to patients and their loved ones, offering moments of joy during challenging times.
This year, KS chose MediCinema as our Charity of the Year, and our community has embraced this cause with open hearts and endless creativity. So far this term, we’ve:
🍿 Hosted a Movie Night at KS
🧁 Whipped up a Halloween Bake Sale
🎃Celebrated with a Halloween Fancy Dress Day and Pumpkin Palooza fundraiser
🎄 Organised sale of Christmas Merchandise designed by our students
🌊 Held Moana 2 Premier tickets silent auction
And there’s still more to come! We are continually amazed by the imaginative ideas our students come up with to raise funds and make a positive impact.
This partnership is a testament to the power of community and creativity. Together, we are helping MediCinema bring light and laughter to hospital wards across the UK. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed so far—you’re making a real difference! 💙

KS had a fantastic start to the second half of the autumn term! Our most dedicated young artists were selected for a special reward: a trip to @harrods . Harrods team created an exciting and memorable day for KS students, where they enjoyed hands-on demonstrations, explored an array of toys, discovered magic snow and tricks, and even had the chance to chat with the iconic Harrods Green Men. It was an exciting day filled with fun —a well-deserved recognition of their hard work and passion in art classes!

On Thursday 10th October Year 2 went to The Tower of London to stretch their knowledge on their current History topic ‘London on Fire’.
Here they took part in an interactive workshop where they were immersed into life in 1666 and retold the story of ‘The Great Fire of London’.
The Year 2 team were so impressed with how beautifully they behaved throughout the day and this was even highlighted through the Tower of London team who explained that they had never seen a more well-mannered and respectful group of school children at their venue. Well done Year 2 we could not be prouder of you all.
