About Knightsbridge School

We are incredibly proud of our school and the happy, vibrant and purposeful community that has been built here over the last fifteen years. When you walk through the blue doors you will be warmly welcomed into a friendly school where there is a palpable buzz; children chatting happily with one another and their teachers as they move between lessons, matches or clubs or heading off for a delicious lunch in the dining room. Exceptional pastoral care ensures that our children feel loved, and well supported by consistent messages based around the KS Code – both at school and at home.

This gives the children the scope to develop the confidence, resilience and determination to move on to the next stage of their educational journey, able to tackle challenges and embrace change with courage, compassion and integrity.

We have six main aims – they are Atmosphere, Attitude, Autonomy, Achievement, All-Rounder and Action. The KS community believe that teamwork is the key to achieve these A’s at school. Pupils excel at all levels and each year get accepted into fantastic senior schools. A broad and engaging curriculum combined with an outstanding range of extra-curricular opportunities mean that children are encouraged to be creative, curious and, by having a go, to find their talents and develop the skills for success. Our commitment to charity and the local community through action, supported by our wonderful Parents’ Association, fosters a genuine and deep sense of belonging and engagement with the wider world.

We warmly invite you to visit KS and to experience the KS family for yourself.

Knightsbridge School is a Member of the Independent Schools Association and the Independent Association of Prep Schools.

I am, as the Founding Head of KS, extremely proud of all the members of our school community, past and present. Together we have built something extremely special. Being a former soldier, the KS initials for me imply ‘Keep it Simple’, a suitable message in a very complex world. We do also expect everyone to Keep Studying, Keep Striving, Keep Safe & Sound, Keep Sporting, Keep Striding and Keep Soldiering On
