International students

At Knightsbridge School, we are proud to welcome families from all over the world into our vibrant, inclusive community. Whether you are relocating for work, returning to the UK, or seeking a world-class British education, we are here to guide you through every step of the journey. Our central London location, exceptional teaching staff, and strong pastoral care make us a natural home for pupils aged 3 to 16. We understand that moving countries can be both exciting and overwhelming. That’s why we work closely with families and relocation agents to ensure a smooth, welcoming transition into school and London life.

What is the admissions process when applying from overseas?

  1. Submit an enquiry form here or email admissions@knightsbridgeschool.com
  2. Book a visit to the school if you are in the UK, or alternatively our registrar will be happy to arrange an online meeting with you to learn more.
  3. We will need you to send us a copy of your child’s recent school report and a reference from their current school.
  4. Depending on your child’s age, we may invite them for an assessment and an interview with a senior member of staff.
  5. We will check all visas are in order. If your child is accepted, an offer letter will be issued and you have three weeks to accept or decline.

What year group will my child join?

We provide individualised support to help children from different academic systems adapt quickly. The UK education system is structured into stages based on age and development. At Knightsbridge School, we guide pupils through Early Years (age 3-5), Juniors (age 5-11), and Seniors (age 11-16).

What EAL support do you offer?

Our Learning Support Department provides a warm and nurturing environment for pupils whose first language is not English. We leverage our small class sizes to create a safe and supportive classroom setting, ensuring every EAL pupil feels comfortable and confident. Our low teacher-to-student ratio means that our teachers can provide pupils with lots of individual attention and personalised support, helping them to build confidence and fluency.

If you are overseas and interested in coming to KS, please complete the form below to arrange an initial online meeting with the Head and Principal and our Registrar, Helen McKell, will be in touch.

As an international parent, entrusting my children to Knightsbridge School has been one of the best decisions of our lives. I’m continually reassured by the school’s nurturing yet ambitious environment, where every child is encouraged to find their voice and flourish.
