Enrichment & Extracurriculars

At Knightsbridge School, we believe education is most powerful when it moves beyond the four walls of a classroom. We leverage our prime London location to provide a holistic curriculum where pupils are exposed to a wide world of discovery, fostering independence, leadership, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our Exceptional Club Offering

With over 70 clubs running each week, our extracurricular program is designed for breadth and balance. We pride ourselves on the quality of instruction; many of our clubs are led by external providers who are leading experts in their fields, ensuring your child receives professional-level coaching and mentorship right here at school.

Children can choose from a wide range of academic, languages, sport, performing arts and enrichment clubs, meaning there is something for every child.

Key Skills Week

Each year, we run ‘Key Skills Week’ in the Autumn Half Term. This is a dedicated focus on life skills, where pupils step away from traditional timetables to engage in immersive, skill-based learning that prepares them for future challenges.

Educational Trips

We utilise our central London location to enrich the curriculum through frequent, carefully planned excursions. A glimpse into some of our recent excursions include…

  • Building historical foundations with visits to Hever Castle (Year 1) and the Golden Hinde (Year 2).
  • Exploring themes of justice linked to their book of the term, ‘Holes’, Year 5 visited The Royal Courts of Justice.
  • Senior school – Expanding horizons through science at the London Zoo (Year 7) or experiencing world-class culture with the GCSE Drama trip to see My Neighbour Totoro in the West End.

Residential & International Travel

As pupils progress, so do their adventures. From Year 3 upwards, we run annual residential trips. Our Seniors enjoy international cultural experiences in destinations such as Milan, Barcelona, and Amsterdam.

The KS Ski Tradition: A highlight of our calendar. We offer a Winter ski trip for all pupils from Year 4+, and a specialised Easter trip for our competitive team to participate in the IAPS championships.
