Our Year 10 students have just completed an outstanding week of Work Experience, stepping out of the classroom between the 1st and 5th of June 2026 to immerse themselves in some of the most dynamic workplaces across London.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils and deeply grateful to our host employers this year: BP Global Headquarters, the Commonwealth Secretariat, CNH Industrial, Turkish Airlines, Bank Negara Malaysia, Teacher Stern, Muscatt Black Graf LLP, Olympian Homes, Plaster Magazine, the CRIS Cancer Foundation, Ashburnham School, Tooth Club, Bin Seena Health Ltd, and Interior Design.
Reflecting on the success of the week, Mr Stuart Hind, Head of Careers, highlighted the immense personal growth that occurs when young people are given real responsibility:
“I am incredibly passionate about driving this programme because work experience is a vital part of understanding the transition into working life. There is simply no substitute for experiencing the realities of an adult workplace first-hand. By trusting our 15-year-olds in these highly competitive environments, we help them build valuable experience to support their future CVs and school applications. This week bridges the gap between academic theory and the fast-moving 21st-century working world. Seeing them return to school with newfound confidence, commercial awareness, and a clear vision for their future is the ultimate reward.”
This annual programme is a shining example of how we blend top-tier pastoral support with genuine academic progress, giving our students the emotional maturity and resilience needed to thrive far beyond school. Stepping into a global headquarters or a busy legal firm takes incredible personal courage. Our students rose to the challenge brilliantly, relying on their inner determination and self-reliance to hit the ground running in unfamiliar surroundings.
Our Year 10s asked insightful questions, contributed creatively, and represented our community with the utmost integrity and professionalism. We congratulate them for an outstanding week of professional and personal achievement!
