What an amazing Key Skills Week. The school was a hive of activity over the first week of half term. We had CV writing, exam practice, first aid training, touch typing, self-defence, manners and etiquette, pasta workshops, healthy eating seminars, interview practice, mindfulness and meditation, current affairs, aerobics, journalism classes, gymnastics, sport, urban orienteering, circuit…
The J3’s were treated to an afternoon of beautiful music and exhilarating workshops by four professional orchestral musicians. The afternoon started with a performance of Dvorak’s “American Quartet”, followed by workshops and lessons before the children took to the stage to perform their own string arrangements.
KS had a wonderful time at our annual Harvest Festival celebration at the beautiful St Paul’s church in Knightsbridge. There were generous food donations for our local charity The Passage as well as music and performances from across the school.
The 2015-16 school year is upon us. How fabulous it is to see lots of familiar faces back at KS for the Autumn Term. Everyone is looking so well and ready for the challenges ahead. A big welcome to all new boys, girls, mums, dads and teachers!
