Over the past few months, our Junior and Senior pupils have taken part in our Entrepreneur Event which provides a fantastic opportunity to experience the dynamic world of business. KS pupils worked in teams to design, brand and create innovative products which were then put forward in a Dragon’s Den style pitch. Advice and marketing tips were also offered via a series of entrepreneur workshops in the lead-up to the final event which took place in St Columba’s church.
There was a huge range of exciting products including eco-friendly, reusable air fresheners, a student ID card that unlocks free merchandise and discounts at local shops within the Kensington and Chelsea borough, herbal teas to support digestion, pain relief, and help improve skin complexion as well as beeswax wraps to replace cling film and a family board game.
Three special guests, Nik Darlington (Graft Wine Company), Simon Carter (RM Education) and Michelle Gilmour (Jo Loves) joined us at the final to help judge the winners along with parents and staff who bought the products on offer.
