After a fierce afternoon of competition and skill, KS were crowned chess champions!
This week, KS hosted a Chess tournament with Queen’s Gate, Belleville Primary, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Falkner House, and St James Primary, which was a great success. The tournament was a tense and exciting affair right up to the final game. St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School was winning, but in a dramatic final round, our very own KS team surged ahead to take the title!
Congratulations to all the winning teams:
Although the competition was fierce, it was truly wonderful to see so many players having fun and taking part. The spirit of the day was one of friendly rivalry and determination. A huge thank you to all the teachers and parents for bringing the children and supporting the event.
Meanwhile, our KS Champions will continue building and improving their chess skills in our chess club, one of 70 clubs run weekly for our pupils. Learn more about clubs at Knightsbridge School here.
