At KS, our creative arts provision isn’t just an add-on; it is a central pillar of who we are. Guided by our KS Code to “try to do something creative every day,” we cultivate a vibrant environment where technical skill meets self-expression. From our youngest Nursery pupils receiving weekly specialist music lessons to our Senior students curating advanced portfolios, we ensure every child discovers their unique potential.

What makes the Knightsbridge creative experience so distinct?

• World-Class Platforms: Our Musical Theatre and Drama Companies step into the professional world by performing summer shows at the renowned Chelsea Theatre – complete with full-scale sets, expert lighting, and bespoke costumes.

• London as Our Campus: We turn our prime location into a creative advantage. Pupils regularly visit world-renowned galleries (on our doorstep!) such as The Royal Academy of Arts, the Saatchi Gallery, the V&A, and Tate Britain to enrich their classroom learning.

• Industry Exposure: Our careers programme allows our students to explore where pursuing art, music, or drama might take them. Our GCSE art students recently attended an exclusive illustration and styling workshop led by Jimmy Choo at the JCA London Fashion Academy, and our Year 10 Work Experience week included a placement at an interior design company.
• Outstanding Academic Progress: Our creative passion is backed by rigorous standards. With 50% of our pupils taking 1:1 specialist music lessons, our latest ABRSM examinations yielded an incredible 100% pass rate, with 93% achieving a Merit or Distinction.

As noted in our recent Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection, Knightsbridge School was highly praised for its bespoke programmes, including performing arts, which: “support and extend pupils’ learning, encourage their creativity and extend their critical thinking.”
