On the 11th November, our community came together for a moving Remembrance Service, honouring the brave sacrifices made by so many.
It was a morning dedicated to reflection and gratitude with readings from our School Captains and hymns by our choir, as well as an inspiring talk from our Head of Seniors about his family’s service in WW2. We were especially honoured to host Chelsea Pensioner, Peter, and welcome parents who attended in military uniform. Their stories of service afterwards with our students were truly inspiring.
Throughout the week we have also been displaying photos in school sent in by our KS Community of family members who have served or are currently serving in the military. This was a beautiful and personal way to remind us of the importance of honouring this occasion.
