Knightsbridge School is celebrating another year of excellent GCSE results, with students achieving 91% of grades at 9–4, up from 85% last year, reflecting the hard work, determination and ambition of our incredible Year 11 cohort.
The whole year group achieved outstanding results across the full range of GCSE subject areas from maths and sciences to humanities and the arts.
At Knightsbridge, we believe in developing not only strong academic results but nurturing individual talents. For example, Ava, an exceptional bursary student, was one of the many individual successes, gaining 11 GCSEs whilst balancing her academic accomplishments with her considerable achievements in Karate at national and international level.
Knightsbridge’s supportive environment enables all students to reach their potential. Another of our Year 11s who joined us from Turkey in Year 9 displayed an exceptional aptitude for English, and in a very short period of time, achieved a top-level grade in her English GCSE. We could not be more proud of all our students’ individual successes.
A Community of Excellence
These results are a testament not only to the students themselves, but to the wider Knightsbridge community that has supported them every step of the way. The highly dedicated teachers, form tutors and pastoral staff who have worked closely with each pupil to help them find their own path to success and our wonderful parents who have provided the encouragement and stability that underpins strong academic performance. Excellence at Knightsbridge, is about far more than results. We pride ourselves on our culture of curiosity, care and high expectation that runs through every classroom and every relationship in the school.
A Message to our Students from our new Head, Adam Anstey
“I am enormously proud of every one of our Year 11s. These results reflect not just their hard work, but the character they have shown along the way. Their curiosity, resilience and willingness to support one another has been notable. As I begin my time as Head of Knightsbridge, it has been a privilege to see first-hand the standard our students set for themselves, and I know this is only the beginning of what they will go on to achieve. To every student receiving results today: be proud of what you have accomplished and carry that same determination into the next stage of your educational journey.”
Knightsbridge School wishes its Class of 2026 leavers every success as they move on to the exciting next stage of their education at schools such as Latymer Upper, Rugby and Benenden and we look forward to welcoming future generations of pupils to continue this tradition of excellence.
