On Thursday 10th September, Year 1 Knightsbridge School pupils were bursting with excitement as they joined author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler for the press launch, at Waterstones Piccadilly, of their long awaited new Gruffalo book, Gruffalo Granny. This exclusive invitation to our pupils, parents and teachers marked the publishing of the first new Gruffalo story in over 20 years. Featuring much-loved characters, this fresh and exciting new Gruffalo adventure sees the return of much-loved characters and, of course, the deep dark wood.
To hear Julia Donaldson’s very first reading of Gruffalo Granny was truly inspiring for our pupils. They could barely contain their excitement too, as they were interviewed on ITV for the national news!
