Meet the Teachers

Miss Grace

Grace graduated from York St John University with a BA Hons in Primary Education. Prior to working at Knightsbridge School, Grace spent over 7 years working in the state sector in South West London where she was Head of Early Years as well as Assistant Head Teacher. Grace spends time with Nurseries within the area to discuss and give support on school readiness and behaviour expectations. Whilst working for Knightsbridge School, Grace has completed a Leadership and Management Course through Dukes Education. Grace is also part of the Dukes Early Years Steering Group.

Miss Gill

Following a successful career in Business and Finance, Gill followed her lifelong passion and ambition of working with children and trained to be a teacher. Gill worked for The Young England Kindergarten and then moved to Knightsbridge School in 2006 when the school was set up by Magoo Giles. In April 2015, Gill also became the Safeguarding Lead alongside her role as Head of Nursery.

Miss Amy

Amy has been teaching in the Early Years for 11 years. She received her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Curtin University (Perth, Western Australia), graduating with a permanent teaching position in the Margaret River region. Amy taught in this position for 5 years before relocating to London. She joined Knightsbridge School as a Reception Teacher in April 2017 and fell in love with the ethos of the school. Amy is passionate about outdoor learning and recently converted the ground level courtyard into an outside classroom.

Miss Kate

Born in Dublin, and raised a stone’s throw away from Knightsbridge School, Kate studied Child Psychology at University of Bristol and completed her Early Years PGCE at London Southbank University. Kate has been teaching for 9 years and has worked in both the private and state sector, in London. She has worked at Knightsbridge school for 6 years in the EYFS and in 2020 she took on the role of leading our Read Write Inc program. Kate has also acted as a school based mentor to a trainee teacher, working alongside an external training provider.

Miss Abi

Abbie started at KS in September 2021 and has really enjoyed her first year in Reception as an Early Years Educator!
After achieving a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, she went on to study for her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. This led to an exciting role as a Room Leader in a privately run nursery, which indubitably helped Abbie gain expert knowledge in EYFS. She has a passion for working with children which she finds so rewarding.

Miss Nina

Miss Nina studied law and graduated with 1st class honours in Bogota. While Miss Nina settled in Dubai, she turned her attention to studying for the Advanced Diploma in child care and education and since then she has worked in Early Years, gaining almost 20 years of experience. Miss Nina was also the founder of the Wraparound Care programme at The Jumeirah English Speaking School where she led the team on enhancing learning environments. Miss Nina joined KS in September 2020 and works with Miss Gill in the Lions class as an Early Years Educator.

Miss Sarah

Sarah has been working with children for over 25 years in various roles from management to mentoring in different educational sectors. Sarah studied at Kingston University where she gained two NVQ 3’s, an Early Years Foundation Degree, a BA Hons, and her PGCE to then go on to gain her Early Years Teacher Status. She has worked at Knightsbridge Bridge School as an Early Years Educator for three years in the Early Years team.

Miss Teresa

Teresa was born in Madrid, Spain. She studied her Bachelors of Early Childhood Education adding a Diploma in Neurosciences applied to Education and also a Higher Degree in Children Education in Madrid over the course of 6 years. She lived in Glasgow for a year working in the Glasgow Academy. Teresa then obtained her QTS and moved to London 7 years ago. Teresa has worked at Knightsbridge School for 4 years as an Early Years Educator and has been teaching Spanish to the EYFS for the past year.
