Inspiring Women
Over the course of last week we had a number of inspiring women giving virtual talks to both our Seniors and Juniors. The visiting speaker for our Year 7 – 9’s this week was Financial Times science columnist, Anjana Ahuja. She spoke with the students about international women’s day and answered lots of science questions…

World Book Day
We had great fun celebrating World Book Day 2021, our theme this year was ‘Inspirational People’ and in their English lessons, the children discovered inspirational figures from around the world and they researched and presented the people who have inspired and continue to inspire them. We had Seniors from ‘Book Club’ reading to Juniors, Storytime…
Visiting Authors
The children had a whole host of visiting authors last week (online), who shared snippets of their books, ran quizzes and shared their writing experiences with them. This year, we were visited by published authors: Chris Bradford, Lou Treleaven, Chitra Soundar, Nicolette Sheehan and Claudia White.
Last Week of Online Learning
The students, teachers and parents are all very excited for the return to school next week but are still keeping focused with their online learning this week. Year 4 have been creating sculptures for their river topic, Year 2 have created water cycles and Reception have been exploring their new topic ‘Under the Sea’.

Half Term London Scavenger Hunt

Eco Insect Hotels
