This year, with the help of one of our amazing KS Parents, Mrs Elyssa Douroux, we were able to make Earth Day a wonderful, fun-filled celebration! The Junior School painted their own pebble, with environment focused designs- trees, recycling symbols, plants and the earth. These were their pledge to protect Mother Earth. There were also lots of brilliant stories shared and read on the day, to help us learn how important soil is, how to reduce food waste and how to combat climate change. The Senior School designed and decorated a plant pot each, which they will hopefully go on to plant seeds in to grow their own plant.
