Reception Visited the Science Museum on Thursday. They had an amazing time seeing the Destination Space interactive show where they got to see how to make fresh water on the International Space Station as well as finding out how the astronauts sleep!
This week our Year 3’s visited Kew Gardens on a beautiful, frosty day! They completed a ‘Plants and Products’ of the rain-forest workshop, which included some handy hints on how to survive in there!
The children went to Abbey Road to record the world premiere of ‘Believe’ by Major Simon Haw along with the Commonwealth Choir. On Monday 21st January, Sophie and Eman-Clara were invited to visit the Mayor’s Parlour to receive their prizes for winning the Road Safety Calendar competition. They attended with their families and Miss Maura where they represented KS beautifully. Well done girls!
In Inquiry lessons J1 have been learning all about the Tower of London, crown jewels and beefeaters! It was so exciting to see everything we have learnt about, we had such a fun time on our trip, especially being able to take a ferry to the tower!

The Greek Choir sang at the annual cut of Vasilopita (St Basil’s pie) at Lloyd’s Register. According to the Greek custom, children sing traditional carols wishing luck and prosperity for the New Year and they are given money or treats.
